This Photographic Library goes back to 1952 and upto 1979; they are of various racing themes mainly Group 1, 2 & 3 also Grade 1, 2 & 3 Winners; of which Gerald Segasby has the Sole Copyright to; they are very rare and very sort after.
The Negatives sizes vary from 7" x 5", 6" x 5", 6" x 4", 5" x 4" and so on; they need to go to a special Laboratory for development and takes 1 to 2 weeks for development.
We can produce 2 methods of printing; these are explained below:
No. 1 (lower Cost) method: Inkjet printing forms images by spraying tiny droplets of liquid ink onto paper. Small size and precision placement of the dots of ink produce very near photo-quality images. We print on Matte Premium Plus Photo Paper 280 gsm.
No. 2 (higher cost) method: Photographic printing is the process of producing a final image on paper for viewing, using chemically sensitized paper. The paper is exposed to a photographic negative, a positive transparency (or slide), or a digital image file projected using an enlarger or digital exposure unit such as a LightJet printer. Alternatively, the negative or transparency may be placed atop the paper and directly exposed, creating a contact print.
The images show great details of the subject and are highly rated by the experts; we have work on display at Newmarket for Lester Piggott Guineas Winners.
We will be adding to the vast list of images of our Photographic Library; this of course will take time.
You may wish to enquire of horses that are not shown as yet; please do by all means; we will be pleased to assist.
